| The Griggs
Steele Empowerment Zone consists of nine rural communities.
The overall goal of the Empowerment Zone strategic plan
is to increase population while maintaining rural values
and the lifestyle that so many generations in Griggs and
Steele Counties have had the opportunity to enjoy. The
Empowerment Zone communities are continually working to
invigorate and diversify the economy by providing community
incentives that assist in bringing in new businesses and
also assisting with the expansion and retention of our
existing businesses. |
