The Tourism
Committee members represent each community within the
Zone including the Golden Lake recreation area. The
mission of the Tourism Committee is to collectively
identify Zone area activities, cultural arts, historic,
nature and agri-based tourism opportunities with the
Zone. The Tourism Committee’s purpose is as follows:
- To preserve and promote the heritage and quality
of life in the Zone.
- Facilitate networking and exchange ideas based
on tourism.
- Promote and invest in nature-based and agri-based
tourism.
- Coordinate and plan future tourism based events
in the Zone.
- Work with regional and statewide tourism efforts.
